Windsor Park has several schools throughout the community. They include the preschool, elementary school and the after-school program facility. By traveling Groat Road and/or Groat Bridge residents gain access to all the destinations on the north side of Windsor Park, including Downtown Edmonton, Westmount Centre and Telus World of Science, all located in Edmonton.

If night life and dinning is of interest, both University Avenue and 87th Avenue can take the local patrons to Whyte Avenue located in Old Strathcona, Edmonton. This location offers a large variety of exciting entertainment, including live music, dancing, theaters, cinemas, celebrations, coffee shops and fine, fun dinning.

The main artery south from the university area is 114th Street. This route gives access to Southgate Centre. Whitemud Drive allows residents another way to reach the North side, while also allowing great access to West Edmonton Mall.

Windsor Park is not much more than homes. It is not a thriving business district. It is not a flashy, entertainment zone. It does not boast with frivol and glam. It is a place to call home.
