The Hamptons is a residential neighborhood in West Edmonton, located in Alberta Canada. It is a new neighborhood with over two hundred residents. About seven out of every ten residences live in single family homes. The remaining residents live in duplexes. There are very few unoccupied homes with most being owner occupied. However there are a few homes that are rented and made available to other residents.
The Edmonton International Airport is south of The Hamptons giving residents easy access for business or pleasure traveling. Winterburn Road and Anthony Henday Drive are easily accessible and extend each and west through the area. These highways act as boundaries for this residential area along with 62 Avenue acting as a northern boundary. There are numerous roadways in which to travel and are easily accessible to residents in The Hamptons.
There are plenty of Parks along the area which provide a quiet retreat for residents to enjoy picnics or a simple walk. For the nature lover there are ravines and natural adventures for exploring or site seeing.
The Hamptons is severed by both the Edmonton Public & Catholic School Boards.
As a suburb of Edmonton, there are nearby shopping centers, restaurants and hotels which can be enjoyed by The Hamptons residents. Entertainment attractions are also nearby as are commercial and business centers.
