Summerlea is a neighbourhood located in West Edmonton Alberta, Canada. This neighbourhood is home to one of Edmonton's best known tourist destinations--West Edmonton Mall. The neighbourhood is bounded on the east by 170 Street, the west by 178 Street, the north by 95 Avenue and south by 87 Avenue. Surrounding neighborhoods are Terra Losa to the north, Glenwood to the north east, West Meadowlark Park to the east, Elmwood to the south east, Thorncliffe to the south, Aldergrove to the south west, Belmead to the west, and La Perle to the north west.
Educational opportunities are located in the adjacent neighbourhoods. The Edmonton's Misericordia Community Hospital is located in West Meadowlark Park. The Johnny Bright Sports Park, the Jasper Place Fitness and Leisure Centre, and the Bill Hunter Centre are located to the east of West Meadowlark Park.
