One of the newer residential neighbourhoods in west Edmonton Alberta, Canada is Potter Greens. A substantial number of the houses in the neighbourhood were built during the 1990s. The most common type of residence is the single family dwelling with the remainder all being duplexes. The majority of residences in Potter Greens are owner occupied.
Potter Greens is surrounded by Suder Greens and Belmead to the north. Breckenridge Greens is situated to the west. Granville, Glastonbury and Lymburn are located to the south and Aldergrove to the east. The neighbourhood is bounded on the east by Anthony Henday Drive, on the west by Lewis Estates Boulevard, and on the south by Whitemud Drive. Whitemud Drive provides access to destinations on the south side, including the University of Alberta, Whyte Avenue, and Southgate Centre. The Anthony Henday provides access to destinations to the south of the city including the Edmonton International Airport.
As the neighbourhood is new, consequently there are no schools. Vhildren can however, attend schools in nearby communities such as the Aldergrove Elementary School in Aldergrove, Belmead Elementary School and St Benedict Catholic Elementary School in Belmead and Lymburn Elementary School and St. Martha Catholic Elementary School in Lymburn. West Edmonton Mall is located a short distance to the east of the neighbourhood along 87 Avenue.
