Named after August Minchau, and located in the Mill Woods section of Edmonton Alberta, Canada, is the residential neighborhood of Minchau. August Minchau was one of the first to settle in the Mill Woods area in the 18th century. A majority of the homes in Minchau are single family homes, yet there are a few apartments and duplex style homes located here as well.
The apartment style homes in Minchau are low rise buildings and account for most of the rentals. The remainder of the homes (nearly 80%) are owner occupied.
