Named for the Cree word for "berries" and located in the Mill Woods area of south east Edmonton Alberta Canada is the neighbourhood of Menisa. Menisa is a somewhat newer neighbourhood by Edmonton standards, with construction starting in 1976. It is perhaps one of the fastest constructed neighbourhoods as well, taking only four years to build. More then 80% of the homes in Menisa are single detached style homes.

Menisa like any other neighbourhood in Mill Woods is a tremendously popular neighbourhood with people looking for homes here everyday. While there are occasionally homes available in Menisa, a lot of the residents here are longer term.

And of course convenience it was what Menisa is all about, with Menisa Shopping Centre right in the neighbourhood.
