This residential neighborhood is located in the Southeast part of Edmonton. Fulton Place is named after a small creek that runs through the neighborhood. This creek borders the west side of this neighborhood. The other name for the neighborhood is Hardisty.
There were a small percentage of neighborhoods that were built prior to World War II however the majority of the homes were built between 1946 and 1960. A small number of houses were built during the 1960’s and an even smaller number were built after 1970.
Nearly all of the homes in this neighborhood are single family homes and nearly all of the homes in the neighborhood are owned. There are a few apartment buildings in the neighborhood but all are under three stories and there are an even smaller number of duplexes with few other residences. There are only a small number of renters in this neighborhood.
This neighborhood is home to two schools. These schools are Fulton Place School and Hardisty Junior High School and both of these are public schools. Some other noteworthy places are also in the area. These include Hardisty Fitness and Leisure Centre and Michael Cameron Arena.
