Second, very similar to the rented apartments are condominiums that are not any higher than five stories. There are of course single family dwellings. The most common type of residence in the neighbourhood is the single family dwelling. These account for just under one half of all the residences in the neighbourhood. Apartment style condominiums and rented apartments in low rise buildings account for another four in ten of the residences in the neighbourhood. One in ten of the residences are row houses and one in 12 are duplexes. Three out of four residences are owner occupied while one in four are rented. This trend has, over the last couple of years has been on a slight turnaround and has resulted in a change in the housing trends with more of the young people renting as opposed to any other method.
