Within north central Edmonton one can find the residential community of Carlton. When one reads the words “residential community,” read it literally, since this community truly is for just relaxing and enjoy your family. If one is looking for steady commerce, one will have to travel into Edmonton or other areas.

Most of the residential community is made up of single family dwelling houses and apartments. This is truly a family community. However, there are also duplexes for other people that might not need a larger living space. There are options for people who wish to live in this residential community.
The location of the neighborhood is situated as such: The neighborhood is bounded on the west by 142 Street, on the north by 167 Avenue, and on the south by 153 Avenue. The boundary on the east is half a block west of 134 Avenue.
When it comes to education, most of the children will have to go to school to the surrounding areas. Some of the options are Oxford, and Cumberland.
Education is not the only thing which people will have to travel for. Since, Carlton is literally a residential community, one will have to shop and find entertainment in another area.
Some of these points might seem negative. Well, they need not be. It all depends on what someone is looking for. If you are looking for the big city with tons of options, then this residential community is not for you. But, if you are looking to raise a family you will be in good company. Carlton, is not the downtown core, but it has its own advantages.
