The neighborhood of Satoo is located in Southeast Edmonton. It is one of eight communities in an area known as Mill Woods. Satoo is a neighborhood in the community of Knottwood. The other two neighborhoods in Knottwood include Menisa and Ekota. Satoo received its name from a Cree chief who lived on the Papachase Indian Reservation, formerly located in the Mill Woods area, between 1876 and 1891.
