Ormsby Place is a residential neighbourhood in West Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is named for the person who developed Edmonton's grid system of streets. The neighbourhood is bounded on the west by Anthony Henday Drive, on the south by Callingwood Road, on the east by 178 Street, and on the north by 69 Avenue. The Anthony Henday provides access to destinations to the south of the city including the Edmonton International Airport.

Residential development of the neighbourhood, commenced during the 1970s when less than one half of the residences were constructed. Another thrust at construction took place during the 1980s. Most of the remaining residences were constructed during the 1990s. The most common type of residence, accounting for just over half of all residences, was the single family dwelling. Following close behind were row houses. Apartments and duplexes account for the minority. More than half of the residences are owner occupied while the remainder are rented.
The Edmonton Public School System operates the single school in the neighbourhood, the Ormsby Elementary School. The neighbouring communities also offer options for education. In Callingwood, there are the Callingwood Elementary School, the Archbishop Oscar Romero High School, the Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Elementary School, the Talmud Torah Elementary Junior High School and the Sylvan Learning Centre West.
In Gariepy one’s children can attend the Centennial School. The Good Shepherd Catholic Elementary School and the S. Bruce Smith Junior High School are located in Dechene. The Michael A. Kostek School is operated by the Edmonton Public School System in Jamieson Place. Lymburn Elementary School and the St. Martha Catholic Elementary Schools are located in Lymburn.
One of the largest shopping centres in North America, West Edmonton Mall is located a short distance to the north along 178 Street.
