Hodgson is one of the newer areas in southwest Edmonton, where basically all the residential development took place after the year 2001. This particular neighborhood resides on the south side of the neighborhood near 23rd Avenue, on the east side of the amazing Whitemud Creek Ravine. Rabbit Hill Road sits on the west side of the neighborhood and on the north side of the neighborhood near a utility corridor is located north 29th Avenue.
The single family dwelling residence is also the most common type of residence in this particular neighborhood just as you would find in many of the other neighborhoods. The single family dwelling accounts for a little under half of the residence in this neighborhood. There are also apartment style condominiums which are known to be common in this neighborhood but are found in the low rise buildings with no less than five stories.
The remaining section of the neighborhood which accounts for one in every twenty residences resides in duplexes. Basically 9 out of every 10 residences are owner occupied while another one in every ten is rented.
As mentioned above, Hodgson is one of the newer residences in Alberta, Canada and can easily be considered one of the hot spots in the country. Although it may be one of the newer area or neighborhoods around it doesn’t lack in appeal and attractiveness. The famous and amazing Whitemud Creek Ravine isn’t very far from the neighborhood and the University of Alberta still makes for one of safest and comfortable places to traverse or attend.
